Gospel of Mark PDF
I had the distinct pleasure of performing a proofread pass on the Gospel of Mark yesterday, as Robert readies the PDF for inclusion on this site as a free download. As I read, I found the story coming front and center, without the hesitancy and slight stumbles that I usually encounter reading scripture, even in those translations I use most frequently. I so look forward to reading the rest of LENT.
Audio/Video
I’d love to get your thoughts on possible audio or video resources we can add to this site. Some starter thoughts: interviews, readings from the text, short videos showing the format of LENT. Please brainstorm and add more possibilities in the comments section!
Posts from Substack are easily shared on social media, and show up frequently on Twitter. Some Twitter users even have their Substack address as their name!
All for Now
That’s all for this first post from the Lifegate Substack. I am humbled to be part of this process. Warner House Press had the pleasure of working with Jim Mancuso on LENT in the background for most of our existence.
We are grateful to have a non-exclusive publishing contract for LENT’s first hardcover release, and our fervent prayer is that it greatly extends the reach of the gospel and is used by God to spark revival in these times.
Let's Go!
Warners are such excellent publishers to work with. They are responsive, kind, generous, and thoughtful. From our first interactions I have found them to be great examples of godly, visionary, capable men who have helped me turn dreams into reality.
